Our Brilliant Destruction was created with environmental responsibility at the forefront of its production model. To reduce our carbon footprint, the film relies heavily on licensed archival and stock footage rather than carbon-intensive travel, on-location shoots, or large crew operations. This approach significantly minimized transportation emissions, equipment use, and material waste, while also preventing disturbance to vulnerable natural environments.
By working primarily within post-production and reimagining existing visual resources, the film aligns its process with its message: confronting climate collapse while actively reducing its own environmental impact.
